Can't decide? To help you decide which class is for you we have a one week pass available. Come and try as many classes as you want for a one week period, the cost is $50.
Kid's Classes * Preregistration is required for Prenatal Yoga. Please contact us by email or phone to let us know if you are bringing a child to any of our kids classes. We like to assemble the children's rosters before hand so that the teacher knows who to expect in class.

Class Descriptions
YOGA
Athletic Yoga - This yoga class is designed to challenge your muscular-skeletal system by using yoga postures and continual movement while overloading all of the major muscle groups. You will become stronger and more toned, increase flexibility, improve your core muscles, and enjoy the stress reduction that is found in a traditional yoga class.
Essential Yoga- An experimentally tested class, designed to improve muscular strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and the back fitness while releasing stress and freeing the mind. Your time will be both physically productive and mentally and emotionally soothing; resulting in a stronger and steadier you! Come as you are and let the class unfold at a pace that suits you.
Essential Yoga with Special Focus - This class has all the trappings of our traditional essential yoga class with the added benefit of regularly concentrating on a variety of postures to focus on a specific area; each week accentuating a different area.
Yoga 101 - This yoga class will provide a basic understanding of various yoga postures and how to perform them safely. We will also discuss and experience the benefits of yoga while debunking common yoga myths and misperceptions. Yoga 101 is designed for participants with little or no previous experience in yoga and current students who are interested in a deeper understanding of yoga postures. The cost for the series is $48--please register to save a space in the class.
Flow Yoga - This yoga class will move you smoothly from one posture to another. You will burn extra calories, strengthen and firm up your muscles and may even break a sweat. In the end you will be rewarded with rejuvenating relaxation.
Gentle Restorative Yoga- Perfect for beginners or those desiring a gentle pace along with the release of emotional stresses and muscular tension. This is the ideal class to ease your way into the many benefits of yoga.
Good Morning Mix. Relieve the stress of the week and get ready for your weekend with an invigorating mix of athletic, vinyasa strength yoga incorporating core strengthening pilates . A dynamic and graceful flow yoga that includes strength building poses with an emphasis on breath and body awareness.
Power Yoga- You will flow from one posture to the next creating an active class that elevates caloric expenditure, and challenges you physically while enhancing the mental and emotional release that comes from yoga participation.
Prenatal Yoga Movement- Join in to experience the positive benefits of yoga and movement with other expectant Moms. We will prepare your body for the challenges of pregnancy and delivery while enjoying the companionship and encouragement in this class delightfully focused on the beauty of pregnancy.
Sunrise Yoga - This is an essential yoga class for the person that needs to get up and out starting the day off on the right foot!
Traditional Yoga- This is a special class, with all the components of time-honored yoga. You will find creative use of postures, empowering meditation, incense and more. This class is sure to enhance your yoga practice.
Yoga for Back Care -- Research shows that 85% of Americans suffer from back problems at some point in their life. Take this class and help make your back strong and stable while enjoying the many benefits of yoga. This yoga class is taught by a physical therapist
Yoga for Golf -- Train your body and focus your mind for the upcoming golf season. The class is especially designed to strengthen muscles and improve flexibility in preparation for the movement patterns required in your golf game. This yoga class can help reduce the incidence of overuse injuries, help to improve back health and enhance your ability to clear your mind and center your attention on your game.
Yoga for Seniors- Research shows that yoga can improve balance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility. There also can be a lowering effect on blood pressure, reduction in pain caused by arthritis, and an improvement in mental focus. Senior citizens can reap these benefits and more with this gentle and inspiring class. The relaxation will leave you calm and peaceful but you will gradually see your body grow stronger and steadier!
Yoga/Trim and Tone- The first half of this class is full of exercises designed to strengthen all of your major muscle groups making you more toned and contoured. That is followed by yoga postures designed to compliment the weight training and ending in a gentle relaxation.

CARDIO FITNESS
NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) -- Nia uses an eclectic blend of music; every step is in harmony with the rhythm & mechanics of the body. All Nia movements can be personalized for any age, body type, and level of fitness. You are guided by the "pleasure principle", allowing you to experience & find your own comfort level. Each 1 hour class incorporates a moderate level of cardiovascular activity, muscle toning, flexibility, & balance.
Cardio/Glutes and Abs - You will get it all in this class, calorie burning, improved cardiovascular function, firm and strong abs and glutes(abdominal muscles and rear-end muscles); what more could you ask for!
Cardio/Yoga Fusion!- You will get the aerobic workout that burns extra calories and improves your cardiovascular fitness without the joint stressing movements of a traditional aerobics. Yoga postures close the class providing a well rounded workout in a new and exciting way.
Cardio/Trim & Tone -- We will raise the heart rate, firm the muscles promoting better health and better physique, ending in a gentle yoga cool down.
Kickboxing/Pilates- In this class you will work your cardiovascular system through traditional kickboxing moves at a level that is comfortable for you. The second half of the class is full of productive Pilates exercises designed to make you stronger and more flexible.
Belly Dancing -- This is a class for everyone. Learn the easy to follow movements while enjoying the freeing effects of belly dancing in this fun spirited atmosphere. You don't have to be a dancer to experience all that this class has to offer.
Salsa/Mambo -- You don't have to be a dancer to enjoy the movement and uplifting music in this class. You will burn extra calories while you let go to the beat. Soothing stretches will close the class, making it a well rounded workout.
Cardio Creation -- An active rhythm class using moves from Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Latin dance styles. You will improve your cardiovascular system, burn calories but the emphasis is on fun! Suburban Warrior Workout -- Life can be stressful-arm yourself with this high energy class fusing martial arts, yoga and Tai Chi techniques to focus your mind and body on strength, power and control.
Zumba -- Come join the Zumba party!!!! Zumba is the Latin-inspired, calorie-burning, feel-it-to-the-core dance-fitness party that leaves you feeling energized and exhilarated about your day. All fitness levels welcome...guaranteed to leave you sweating & smiling.
PILATES
Pilates- A class full of effective muscular strength, endurance and flexibility exercises with special emphasis on core stability. You will improve muscle tone, balance and joint range of motion with special focus on breath awareness. It is popular because it works!
Body Sculpt Pilates - You will derive all the benefits of Pilates from this unique class that also incorporates light weights to overload and strengthen your muscles.
Trim & Tone - Working all the major muscle groups in this class, you will produce a stronger more firm body just in time for the summer.
Yogalates -- It is a flowing class that challenges and invigorates with the combination of yoga and pilates.
*PARENT AND CHILD*- A children's class taught with a parent or other adult attending the class along side the child. An adult has a unique opportunity to model their commitment to good health, having special time set aside for their child, while enjoying the many benefits of yoga. |
